The international wine and spirits trade fair – Prowine Mumbai-returns to the Jio World Convention Centre on November 18–19, bringing producers, importers, distributors, hospitality professionals and beverage brands together.

Mumbai is gearing up for becoming a meeting point for the international wine and spirits industry when ProWine Mumbai 2026 returns to the Jio World Convention Centre on November 18 and 19.

The event jointly organised by Messe Düsseldorf India and All Things Nice is a two-day trade fair positioned as a business and networking platform for India’s expanding alcobev sector. It aims to connect international producers with importers, distributors, hospitality professionals and other industry stakeholders.

A broader look at the alcobev industry

While wine and spirits remain at the heart of ProWine Mumbai, the 2026 edition will cover a wider spectrum of the beverage business.

The exhibition will showcase wines, spirits, beers, craft beverages, ciders, meads, cocktails, premium mixers and zero-proof alternatives, alongside ancillary categories such as glassware and bar accessories.

For a market where premiumisation is reshaping consumer demand, the broader category mix reflects the changing nature of India’s beverage landscape.

ProSpirits puts spirits in focus

One of the key sections of ProWine Mumbai 2026 will be ProSpirits, dedicated to the spirits category and India’s increasingly sophisticated cocktail culture.

The spirits segment has become an increasingly important part of India’s premium beverage conversation, with Indian and international brands competing for attention across whisky, rum, gin, vodka, agave spirits and other categories.

ProSpirits will provide a dedicated space for this part of the industry, alongside tastings, masterclasses and discussions examining developments across the category.

ProWine Zero reflects the changing drinking landscape

Another notable feature is ProWine Zero, which focuses on low- and no-alcohol beverages.

The category has moved well beyond being a niche offering in many international markets, with consumers increasingly exploring alternatives to conventional alcoholic drinks. By giving zero-proof beverages a dedicated platform, ProWine Mumbai is also reflecting the broader shift taking place within the global drinks industry.

Masterclasses, tastings and industry conversations

Beyond the exhibition floor, the programme will include masterclasses, tastings, panel discussions and competitions.

Expert-led sessions will look at international trends and innovations, while discussions featuring Indian and global industry professionals will provide a forum for conversations around the business and future of the beverage sector.

The 2026 programme will also feature the ProWine & ProSpirits Challenge and the ProWine Bartenders’ Competition.

For trade visitors, another important component will be ProWine Connect, the event’s curated B2B matchmaking platform designed to facilitate connections between producers and potential business partners.

Part of the global ProWein network

ProWine Mumbai is part of the wider ProWein World network, which connects the international wine, spirits and craft drinks industry through events in markets including Düsseldorf, Shanghai, Singapore, Hong Kong, São Paulo, Mumbai and Tokyo.

For the Indian wine and spirits trade, the event will provide another opportunity to meet international producers, discover new brands and categories, and engage with the evolving business of beverages in India.
